Photography here is not documentation. It is the place where invisible conditions become visible — light, water, gravity, memory, infrastructure, displacement.

Minho Lee is a Korean visual artist working between Seoul and Berlin. He received a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts, New York, in 2019, and has presented work across Seoul, New York, and Berlin.

His early series My Genes, which uses optical distortion to visualise inherited memory, is held in the Seoul National University Collection. Later works — Theory of Relativity, The Belt, and Return of My Genes, shown at SOMOS Gallery, Berlin — extend the inquiry into photography, physical reality, technological systems, and cultural identity.

He is the founder and former director of Gallery Jeoul, and the founder of SEOUL RAVE Project, an interdisciplinary platform connecting electronic music and contemporary art.
